No giant monster made a bigger impact on my childhood growing up then the big G himself, Godzilla. I love all of the toho classics, and this was the one that started it all.
Growing up, I had no clue that Raymond Burr was added to Godzilla for the American Release. I just thought it was cool having a big giant lizard tearing up Tokyo. This may not be my favorite entry in the film series, something like 28 movies now, but it keeps moving throughout.
